Stay DIRECTLY on the beach in this gorgeous two-bedroom, two-bath condo! Our Island Escape at Sun Plaza West has everything you could want from your Anna Maria Island vacation, including a lighted tennis court, heated pool, and direct access to the sugar sands of Anna Maria's Island's pristine beaches.

This lovely unit has been completely redone by new owners. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and our silky sand beaches from both the large screened porch off of the living room and the open balcony off of the primary bedroom. An open living space will provide you and your family with comfortable seating for relaxation, a large SMART TV for entertainment, and a dining table to seat everyone for delicious meals prepared in the fully equipped kitchen.

The primary bedroom not only features views of the Gulf from a private balcony but also contains the comfort of a king bed, a large flat-panel TV, and an en suite bath. Designed with families in mind, the second bedroom features twin beds and another flat-panel TV. (Can sleep six with rented roll-away beds.)

Sun Plaza West is centrally located in the heart of Holmes Beach, directly on the southbound route of the Island's free trolley. You'll find plenty of restaurants and shops within an easy distance for walking or biking. During your stay, you might even want to stroll a short distance north on the beach to the famous Beach Bistro, which has consistently been awarded the highest ZAGAT scores in the state of Florida and is included in ZAGAT's Top Restaurants in America.

"Fantastic condo with a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. Two balconies are quite a treat - one screened in and one not. And we were especially impressed with such a large and deep pool. The beds were comfy and the freezer made ice - can't really ask for more.

"This property is as described on the website. There were plenty of beach towels and bath towels available in the unit in addition to extra sheets. The kitchen is adequately stocked and we cooked in several nights. There is a Kuerig in the unit. The storage unit was a wonderful thing to have! There were 3 beach chairs and a pull cart available to us. There were 2 assigned parking spots which were next to the stairs. The location can't be beat. Not only is the unit directly on the beach, it is a short walk to several very good restaurants. We had one non-emergency maintenance issue and management was respectful of our wishes to not respond while we were out of the condo. The master bedroom gets very hot even with keeping the blackout curtains closed all day. This must have been an issue brought up before because there was an oscillating fan available in the master, which we used pretty much 24 hours a day. The only other issue that I would correct "if it were mine" is that the sliding doors off the living room don't close to make a complete seal and I think it would keep the unit cooler if they did. All that said, we loved this unit and it's location and have already booked a return trip.

Great Location and View of Sunsets

"This condo is part of a midsize condo complex. It has the premier location in the complex with excellent views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. There is private access to the beach. It is in walking distance to many of the best restaurants in Holmes Beach. The condo has been nicely remodeled. The living spaces were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped (it even had a Keurig which was not noted on line). There is an outdoor storage space that is well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, flotation devices, and wagons. It had plenty of room to store our golf clubs and rental bikes as well. The only negative was the condo was having construction work done on the foundation while we were there. The work had been ongoing for 4+ months and it appeared a lot more work needed to be done. There was a lot of dust being created from the construction, which got all over the patio furniture and floor. Our assigned parking spot was being used by the construction company, so our parking space was not available during the entire 2 week stay. The construction should have been disclosed with some consideration in a reduced rate given this inconvenience.
