Enjoy Halloween Events In The Anna Maria Island and Tampa Bay area

Halloween goes by many different names, including Hallowe’en, Allhalloween, All Hallows’ Eve, and All Saints’ Eve. While the name may sound different depending on which country you’re in, Halloween always falls on October 31st.

Traditions are gradually changing with more at-home parties and activities. Here are a few area options for those who like to creep about while staying in one of our Anna Maria Island vacation rentals.

October 15th

Goblin Gathering: This event takes place at GT Bray and is a family event. Enjoy a costume contest, face painting, bounce houses, and more! To participate in activities, be sure to get a $5 wristband for the children. Parental participation and trick-or-treating are free. Food vendors will have food for purchase and healthy treats are available.

October 29th

Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza: Do you like carving and decorating pumpkins? This is the perfect event for you! Pumpkins and carving tools are provided for the price of $10, so all you have to worry about is being creative. This event is perfect for carvers of all ages. Additional pumpkins will be available for $10 each.

Trunk or Treat: Enjoy family time at this free event! See how much candy you’ll find at this safe trunk or treat. Enjoy the balloon animal tent, hot dogs, and more.

6 pm – 8 pm at Westside Christian Church at 3604 15th Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205

20th Annual CREA Golf Tournament: Play your best 18-hole game, enjoy a delicious lunch and reception with live auctions, raffle auctions, snacks, and a cash bar! Proceeds will benefit Heroes Welcome Home and the RASM Scholarship Fund. Registration required.

October 30th:

Halloween Parade: A Halloween trick or treat parade will begin at the Mall at University Town Center at 5pm, running for about 2 hours. This annual event is filled with costumed characters offering surprises and giveaways to the best-dressed kids as well as goodie bags for the first 500 kids to arrive.

October 31st:

“1,000 Pieces of Candy”: This is the event’s fifth year and will be hosted by Alcover Massage. It’s a family-friendly adventure that features 1,000 pieces of candy passed out throughout the evening to children trick-or-treating on Halloween.

5:00pm – 9:00pm at 1302 12th Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34205

Fright Night on St. Armond’s Circle: This event returns for the 13th year! Children can trick or treat from many shops and restaurants that will also have spooky promotions and tasty treats.

6:00pm – 8:00pm at St. Armands Circle
